Privacy policy
This policy describes how ELCO WEB collects and processes the personal data of site visitors, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French "Informatique et Libertés" Act. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

2. Data collected
Personal data is collected exclusively through the contact form on the site. The following fields are requested:
- Full name;
- Company;
- Business email;
- Profile (brand, supplier / distributor, other);
- Free-text message.
No other data is collected without the user's knowledge. The site uses no audience analytics tool (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.) and no advertising cookies.
3. Purposes of processing
- Reply to contact or partnership requests submitted via the form;
- Engage with brands, distributors and suppliers interested in a commercial collaboration;
- Keep a record of exchanges relevant to the commercial relationship.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on ELCO WEB's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it, and where applicable on the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (article 6.1.b and 6.1.f of the GDPR).
5. Data recipients
Messages submitted through the form are received by the internal mailbox of the ELCO WEB team. The data is neither sold, nor transferred, nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Technical sub-processors may handle the data solely on ELCO WEB's behalf:
- OVH SAS — site and email hosting;
- Google Fonts — loading of web fonts (may transmit the visitor's IP address to Google's servers).
6. Retention period
Messages received through the form are kept for a maximum period of 3 years from the last contact, in line with CNIL recommendations on B2B prospecting. Beyond that, they are deleted or archived in anonymised form.
7. Cookies
The site uses no audience-measurement or advertising cookies. Only strictly technical cookies may be set by the browser to ensure the page works correctly (and are exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act).
8. Your rights
In accordance with articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right of access and copy;
- Right to rectification in case of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- Right to restriction of processing;
- Right to object to processing;
- Right to data portability.
To exercise these rights, you can contact us via the form on the site or by post to the registered office address. We'll reply within one month at most.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations.
9. Security
ELCO WEB implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against any unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Exchanges between your browser and the site are encrypted via TLS (HTTPS).

This policy may be updated at any time to reflect legal developments or ELCO WEB's practices. The date of last update is shown below.
